Summer’s Coming!! TDR Class and Clinic Holiday Dates
Happy holidays are coming!! Just keeping you up to date with our planned closures for the upcoming holiday periods to help you plan ahead.
Classes and the clinic are running throughout the summer due to the demand for keeping continuity (only the 12th july fortnight and last week of aug off)!
Want to book in - drop in classes are also possible over the summer for new members also.

You can still book online for any service or class via the website links to TeamUp.
Remember if you still want to do a class when we are closed (to earn brownie points!), you can use one of the last 2 classes you attended at the end of June (accessible over the summer), ON Demand classes (monthly members only), and you also have free access to the library of classes on Youtube where there is Pilates, Yoga and Stretching classes for many levels and Body Conditioning also.

Easter and May Holidays at TDR - Class and Clinic Dates Closed
All classes are off Monday 1st - Thursday 4th April 2024 inclusive for the Easter break.
May Bank Holiday - classes are off 27th May for the last bank holiday weekend in May. (We are still attending on Monday 6th May!)
Tanya’s clinic will be closed from 1st-5th April 2024.
Reality, Prioritisation and Relaxation
With everything going on, balance has been impossible - it has been disrupted of course. That’s another frustration and downside of when life gets turned upside down. It made me think about being ‘time-wise’ and how we choose to prioritise what’s landing on our plates to deal with, especially when things are outside of our control.

What are the Best Habits to Build?
What is your ’why’ for exercise? Can you set a goal? Is it an achievement goal and then do you fall back into the prior life plan? Or is it a goal to create a better habit that will influence our lives positively and bring us the mental, physical and emotional bliss we hope it will.
With regards to the body and health, exercise is always a plus. Research continually proves that exercise has positive effects on the body and the mind, which is why it is recommended for any injury, any health condition and for mental health - for everything!
A suggestion to think about with regards to your exercise choices is the FITT principle.
You know the benefits of exercise physically I’m sure - improved heart function, increases your energy levels, improved breathing, feel stronger, etc, but what about mentally?

Creating Better Habits
So did you have a ponder on the last blog post on creating habits?
I have been….and thinking about my behaviour and the self talk that goes on inside my head when i think about doing something that I know I want to do…..but keep throwing obstacles and excuses in my own path!
Funny how our brains work - right?
I have listened to professionals that say that we are defaulted to be negative towards ourselves. Have you ever listened and thought about the words we actually say to ourselves inside?
Creating Habits
Ultimately - this is a self lesson blog post! Trying to achieve a goal!
If you are anything like me, great intentions which don’t always come to fruition.
I have every excuse under the sun in my repertoire - and they are all legitimate excuses for why some intentions don’t acquire acton: I don’t have time, I’m tired, I’m not well, and numerous other things on the list…..need to do X, Y, Z!
So how will i ever create a habit with so many excuses?

For the first time - I am making available a large treatment style room/office to rent in my health and wellbeing studio (first floor) in central Ballyclare.
I'm ALSO interested in hearing from teachers or therapists interested in running small group workshops/classes - as there is availability in the studio, which is fully equipped for Pilates and Yoga and caters for a total of 9 mats.
